One day on the playa....

Enjoy!!

West Mexican Chachalaca

Mexican Tanager

There are about 7 crocodiles living in a small river
that empties into Zihuatanejo's bay.

This bird has to be a Green Heron...

Three Sandpipers...

Mexican Grackle
Probably my favorite to watch since they
are so intelligent and gregarious.

Minimalist photo of the day...
It was only 3:30pm...but seemed
later as the weather was so dark.

  2. What is it about black birds, in all areas of the world, being so smart?

It looks like you are having a wonderful time!

  3. I was surprised by the crocs, I hadn't considered they'd be in Mexico. The Chachalaca is a new bird to me too. You're giving me an education ;-)

  4. Hope you caught that crocodile with a telephoto lens.

  5. I guess it isn't a good idea to swim in that river, unless you have a thing for crocodiles.

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers!
