Last Friday we took a hike

detouring around newly fallen snow.
Instead of going to Castle Lake we took
an old logging road and I took a few photos.

all the birds pecking in the snow! 

 

The little finches were scrambling

for sunflower seeds while this

little bit of snow came down.

It is our first snow of the season

and we are hoping for lots more

this year!

He's cute and he's trouble

because he has no boundaries...

hence the collar and leash.

It keeps him off the table and

other places he should not be.
(He has already broken a treasured lamp)

named Aerial as she prefers to be up

on table tops rather than sleeping by a fire!
