Feline Friday July 31, 2020

This is a wandering kitty.
No idea who he or she belongs to,
but I tried to find out by posting
a photo on our neighborhood's
Nextdoor web site. No one knows
where the kitty belongs. I've even
gone out in the close by neighborhoods
and no one recognizes the kitty.
It looks quite healthy and well fed.
Showing up a few times each week for
the past month. I gave it a bit of food
but won't again as it's not fair to Lucy.
She is very agressive and feisty if she
sees another cat.
I wish folks would keep their cats inside
as we have all sorts of predators here.

Wordless Wednesday July 29, 2020

I took this photo while in the
Dunsmuir Botanical Garden.
I know it's not a Monarch Butterfly.
Does anyone know what kind it is?
Have a lovely day!
Thanks Sandee!

Feline Friday! July 24, 2020

Cats use their noses to check things out!
Have a great Feline Friday!
Thanks Sandee!

Each Thursday Ellen of 15andmeowing and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs, provide Friendly Fill-in questions.
Ellen came up with the first two questions and Lorianne came up with the last two questions.
If you need help, please let either Ellen or Lorianne know.
Here are this weeks questions:
1. I had Gnocci with Pomodoro Sauce for dinner.
2. I always love surprises.
3. Spending time with my best pal is my idea of fun.
4. If I were a food, I would be a Strawberry Shortcake!

I am so thankful for my sweetheart's
amazing abilities to build, create and construct
fabulous improvements to our home!
This week he is building a deck over our
very ugly concrete patio in the backyard!
We will be having "deckadent" Happy Hours
soon with our neighbors!
All of course with "social distancing".....

Have a fabulous day!
Many thanks to Brian !

Thankful Thursday! July 16. 2020

Possibly a House Sparrow...not sure.

I am so thankful for being able to
live amongst nature; to be able to
look outside and see birds, bees, butterflies
and bunnies. We even saw two
deer rambling through the creek area
below our property.
So very thankful for our lovely neighbors,
our amazing helpful friends,
our healthy family and my sweet husband.
Thanks to Brian for Thankful Thursday!
Have a beautiful day!
