Here's my Friendly fill-ins brought to us
 by Ellen of 15andmeowing
 and Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs.
They provide the Friendly Fill-in questions.
Here are my answers:

 1. So far 2021 is not so great for me.

2. A book (movie or song) title that best describes my life is perhaps is Cheaper by the Dozen. At least while I was a kid in a big family!

3. This past Christmas was a pleasant surprise.

4. I learned that trying to tell folks what to do is a recipe for disaster. It's better if I keep my mouth shut!

I am so thankful for our librarians
who either work from home or
within the libraries.
We can reserve books online and then
when notified can come to the library
and safely pick them up outside!
One can only watch so much TV!
And thanks to Brian for Thankful Thursday!!

Remembering Tuffy.
And here is that sweet Tuffy!
He lived not far from where we lived
up on top of a hill. He loved to chase the deer,
the squirrels and anything else that moved
and he had a wonderful life!
My header above shows him by the edge of a creek.
Have a lovely week!

When I was a kid I always wanted
to have a lion or a panther as a pet.
But my parents always said "NO!!"
So this really made me chuckle!

Thankful Thursday January 7, 2021

I am so thankful for being married
to an incredible man; honest, smart, talented,
can fix or make just about anything
and he also has the best sense of humor!
This photo shows him painting the underglaze
on the clay tiles he had made.
Once painted he fired them in the kiln.
Then overglazed and fired one last time in the kiln.
Once done he installed them at his cousins home.
They are in the front entry.
Below is the finished and installed artwork.
It was installed in May of 2007 and still looks the same!

And many thanks to Brian for Thankful Thursday!

Not So Wordless Wednesday!! January 6, 2021

 Lovely penguins near Punta Arena
We were here in early 2008.
Here is what I wrote then:

We docked at Punta Arena, which is one of the two most southern towns in the world.
Took one of my favorite tours, we went out to the summer penguins! Saw some emu’s along the way, wild! Got to the penguins after about one hour. We walked out to the area where they gather, on a wooden path. There is a colony of about 10,000. CUTE,CUTE! They are about 1 ½ feet tall, and there were some older babies that were losing their fluff. Lots of noise, and it’s so different, because they nest in the seagrass, not snow and ice! There are little trails through the grass and they mate and have their young in burrows. Lots of humping! They follow the leader in little groups as they come out of the grassy area to the water. Waddle, waddle!

The Owl and the Belgian Shepherd

For years, photographer Tanja Brandt has made it her mission to capture magnificent photos of animals and wildlife.
Recently, the German artist found a new challenge when she photographed the unique bond between two unlikely friends: Ingo, a Belgian shepherd and
Poldi (Napoleon), a one-year-old owlet.
The owlet and canine have a special protector-protected relationship. Their affection toward each other couldn't be any more evident. Ingo lovingly guards Poldi, who apparently doesn't know how to live free. The owlet hatched two days after his six brothers and sisters, therefore, has always been very vulnerable due to his small size.
They respect each other and they can read each other,
says the photographer Tanja Brandt.
