April was not great until 2 days ago when the
sun began to shine and the days became warmer!

1. I was pleased to hear that we might go to Daylight Savings Time all year round!
2. There should be a Neighbor Appreciation Day.

I am so thankful to be living with such
a talented man! He can do just about
anything! Last week he remodeled our
downstairs half bath and today he is working
on an oil painting for a good friend.
He is painting a very fun coffee shop
that we went to everyday in Loreto Baja Sur
in Mexico. We enjoyed delicious coffee drinks
and enjoyed meeting new friends every day!

I found this delightful cookbook at our local
Camas WA library! So far I have tried two
recipes and they are both delicious!
Today it is pouring rain so I figured I might as
well bake a few tasty delights!
Above is the recipe for the Blueberry Coffee cake.
And here is the coffee cake before I cut it
up into nice sizes to share with our neighbors!!
But wait! I wasn't done....I also baked up a
batch of our favorite Gingersnaps!
Delicious! Especially with a glass of milk!

Feline Friday April 14, 2023
I have posted before photos from our friends home
while they are hosting rescue cats and kittens.
This week they are hosting a mother cat and her two
kittens- one is a male and the other a female.
They are all a bit skittish, especially the mother.
The first photo is of the mother and the female kitten.
The second photo is of the male kitten and he
is a lot more adventurous as you can see!
The third and fourth photos are of our friends' little girl.
She is almost 9 months old and quite the cutie.
She is in the cat's room, but we are supervising while
I get some cute photos!

Today and everyday I am so thankful
for all the traveling we have done over
the years. From Paris to Zihuatenejo
and many other places !! We have enjoyed
every city and country and look forward
to more adventures later this year!
We are hoping to visit Sardinia next mid Spring!
So first I must start learning Italian!
