We enjoyed a fun weekend!

and stay overnight on their way home....

Early yesterday I took the Amtrak train up

to Portland to visit my son for a few days....

but I made sure Russell had plenty of cookies!

 

 

 

Here's an early morning shot of Mt Shasta

 as we leave. Not the best as the windows

are not the cleanest....but then I don't 

think trains get washed too often!

The train was only 10 minutes late- yay!  

 

 

Almost to Portland- this photo is of

the Willamette Falls in Oregon City.

The train got in on time and now I can

enjoy a few days with family!
