Six Words and Sunday Shadows! June 13-14, 2015

Summer is here- time to explore!
Yesterday our hiking group had a
"play day" where some of us hiked, others kayaked and some just relaxed and enjoyed the day. We all brought food and drinks to share
while our fearless leaders brought all sorts
of delicious BBQ choices.
What a great way to kick off summer!
We drove to Orr Lake about 30 miles away...
What a treat! We also saw lots of Red Winged
Blackbirds and Yellow-headed Black Birds.

I kayaked and found interesting
things to photograph...
Here's a sample of what we had to eat.
What a great day!
I hope your days are as good as this....
Don't forget to drop by.....Six Word Saturday
and also Shadow Shot Sunday .
Lots of words and shadowy photos to enjoy!
Have a lovely weekend.

  7. Such a pretty place to play!

  8. Now I want to go kayaking and I'm also hungry! LOL

  9. wow, this is living! I saw pelicans in Florida and it is amazing how they make that long fast dive into the water to catch their dinner. The fresh air and lovely blue waters are so invigorating!

  10. Great beginning to the summer. Wonderful shots.

  11. You passed through country that I rarely ever see. Wonderful!
