Magpie Tales and Eric Alders MPP September 16, 2013

Map provided by Tess Kincaid

Planning a trip is part of the journey
Poring over maps and names of places
Throwing the dice or a dart at a map
And then there's the joy of seeing new faces

The cherry on top of traveling for me
Is the people I meet and their life stories
Everyone's lives are tapestries woven
Lessons to be learned and never boring.

And if you are really truly lucky
You will meet some faces oh so dear
That you will travel many miles to see
Such good friends full of good cheer

The Zihuatanejo Crowd  November 2012
Over the years we have made such good friends
while traveling that we do return time and again
to renew those sweet friendships.

Have a great week wherever you are!

  1. Friendships are among the best of things.

  2. Good friends are what it's all about!

  3. You can meet so many wonderful people that you want to see again. We sure have. One day will go visit them again too.

Have a terrific day. Hugs. ☺

  4. Absolutely delightful!

  5. What a fun trip, Kathe!
(Love that last pic with the hats!)

    Thanks for playing M.M.P.P.

  6. You're right - the people we meet on our travels really do stick with us. When we went to Florida in July, we will never forget the lady who helped save us from the riptide :)

  7. A lovely post, Kathe. Thank you!

  8. Can feel the genuine joy you get from your friendships, thanks , Kathe

  9. I'd certainly love to follow your map..find those friends..who could ask for more?

  10. Wonderful! Can I come, too?

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
