A to Z Challenge April 19, 2016 P is for Patriotism

This past Sunday we took a drive up
Hwy 97 to explore the Tule Lake area
While driving we stopped here to read this sign.

I wonder if he would have been
allowed to do this today in our politically divisive environment.

  2. Well, probably the Mexican flag would be okay, but not our American flag. Makes me scratch my head most days, but we both live in California and sometimes things are just nuts here.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥

  3. This is such a cool thing! I think we tend to over-think things today, make a fuss about every little thing, when we could much better put that energy into doing something positive for the world. Let's stop all the complaining!!! :-)

  4. Yes, this might be prohibited today but I'm glad this fellow figured out an alternative way to show his patriotism.

  6. What a wonderful thing for him to do! We need young people who are passionate about their nation in a good way.

  7. Wow, that is a great act of patriotism! It is sad to think that this probably wouldn't be allowed anymore.

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
