Did you know that there are jobs for cats?
Seizing Traffic
Traffic Ceases a few times each day
in Mt Shasta when the freight trains
come through town. It's usually a fairly long train and takes about five minutes
to pass by each crossing. I turn off the car and watch the train roll by.....and roll by.
Graffiti can be an art form...
Enjoy your day and I'll see you tomorrow!

Yep, my cats have filled each of those jobs at least once. Have a beautiful Monday!
ReplyDeleteI see graffiti on trains, above and below ground, all over the world. I agree. Done with care it can be a moving art form (pardon the pun!)
ReplyDelete'The Choir', a short story with 2 neglected words
Ghost chaser was hilarious!
ReplyDeleteWish our trains were that colorful.
Awww on the kitty jobs. Who knew? So adorable and they do all those things and more.
ReplyDeleteOh the trains. We have many each day. There's a place (hub) in a small town down the road that you can wait up to 15 minutes for the train to do its thing.
Have a purrfect Awww Monday. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥
they say that kitties CAN see spirits...but...would love to know how they know that since cats don't talk! catchatwithcarenandcody
ReplyDeleteCats are far more valuable than I realized. ;-) I used to enjoy listening to the trains roll through my hometown. Alas, the trains are long gone and I've moved anyway! Well-done graffiti is an art form I appreciate.
ReplyDeleteMt> Shasta? We're practically neighbors. There sure is a lot of us close by.
ReplyDeleteWe have a train that rolls through downtown Beaverton every day at peak traffic time.
ReplyDeleteHello! I used to have to only visit the Wordpress blogs on my desktop, but for some reason i can do the Blogger ones now on my laptop - have no idea why! We have a cat called Milla and she is a very shy cat - not too scared to chase ghosts, though! ~Liz http://www.lizbrownleepoet.com
ReplyDeleteHave a happy week, Kathe! Hope not too many trains roll by. :)
ReplyDeleteKathe, just stopping by to say hello and thank you for always visiting me too! I hoped to participate in the A to Z challenger but just can not get organized. Love your share today and always fun to stop by and say hello. xo
ReplyDeleteYou just can't ever go wrong with a post that talks about cats!! :-) The trains rolling by conjure up images from childhood and how we loved to watch and wait for them, though I do suppose doing so as part of a regular commute would become tiring. Still that time can be used to relax and reflect on the day, and you are right that graffiti can be artwork as well! :-)
ReplyDeleteJosie Two Shoes from Josie's Journal
Love the cat video! My cats definitely perform many of those duties very well :)
ReplyDeleteTrains are my favourite. I love travelling by trains. As a kid, I along with my siblings used to visit my uncles house where they have a Rail track opposite to his house. As we hear the train sound we all children used to run to the frontyard to see the train passing by.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was doing my MBA there was a Railtrack on our way to college. Me and my friends used to place coins on the track and wait for the train to go. We used to collect those flat and widened coins and treasure them.
Thanks for bringing back the memory Kathe. I loved Cats video too.
