 Some cats do not mind the snow!

We got a lot of snow today-

so while we are out shoveling 

our friends cat is exploring! 

And our Lucy is rolling around in the catnip

warm and cozy in the house!

Thankful Thursday February 23, 2023

Lucy cannot believe it is snowing!

Oodles of birds at our feeders!

Red and Yellow Shafted woodpeckers, 

Downy woodpeckers, Varied Thrushes 

and all sorts of Chickadees. The Starlings are

coming in now and we would just as soon

they fly back to England! They take over.

Anyhow- all of us are enjoying the snow

and the birds too! We need the snow on our

mountains and melted snow in our rivers

and creeks! We are thankful for all that we can get!

We got snow last night! Fortunately it did

not snow too much! We will be putting on our

 studded tires as the weather forecast shows

 more snow later in the week...and into next week argh!

sledding, skiing and snowshoeing!

used the ATV with plow attached

to clear our driveway!

Our nearby neighbors have a new puppy.

Toby in front is about 8 months old and

the little guy in back just joined the family!

Ryder is about 2 months old and cute as

the dickens! We haven't met him yet, but

pretty soon we will.

 He starts obedience school next week and

judging by how well Toby picked up

good manners Ryder won't be far behind.

Yep it was a glorious day after a night of wind and snow...

 

 

Lucy snoozed while we shoveled and plowed for 3 hours!

Now our car can get out of the garage

and we can drive down our very long driveway!
