Gorgeous sunsets but at a terrible price. We are just coming out of the smoke here as well. Except we have stubble fields being burned around us in these first few clearer days. Sigh. Lovely shadows you captured though.
We need rain, without lightening. We are so very dry. Have a fabulous weekend honey. Big hugs. ♥♥♥
It seems so odd that the acrid smoke added to the sunny sky creates an innocuous and pretty pink and orange haze. I'd prefer a regular blue sky and no fires!
Wonderful shadow shot.
It's been a long time since I lived in California but I was born there and still have a sense of loyalty. It pains me to read about the three year drought and all the wildfires. I hope the state gets plenty of rain this summer. Take care.
Pretty shots, and i hope the area gets needed rain soon.
That's a sad amount of acres burned...
fires and floods...craziness. love the warmness to your shadow shot!!
The sunset is beautiful. I hope it will rain soon where you live. Romi @ Letters from the Land of Cherry Blossoms
Cool photos, so sad about the fires.
Oh, how sad and terrible!(I eventually succumbed and joined Google+. They make it that you pretty much have to. I resisted a long time, but eventually found other reasons why it was useful to me to be there, so I gave in. I quite understand how you feel and why you won't be visiting my blog/s.)
Fires are so sad and final for a long time.Beautiful sunset!Happy Sunday!my blog is here - > BLOGitse
The smoky hazed sunset is quite mystical. And even the indoor light and shadows do seem smoky too.
What a scary Summer it's been, Kathe! I wish I could send you a little rain.
Are you in the Happy Camp area? I was investigating a teaching job there several years ago, but now am glad that I didn't accept it!6WS and Shadow Shot
Hope you are doing okay, saw some film from the fire in Weed, really terrible. Keeping everyone in our prayers.
