Books and reading have been a very

I love to read!
What were some of your favorite
books as a child? I read and re-read
Tom Sawyer, Little Women, Alice in Wonderland,
Secret Garden and Winnie the Pooh.

  2. I can't remember the author but my favorite books as a kid were "The Enormous Egg" and "The Wonderful Flight to the Mushroom Planet".

  3. "Nicholas Needlefoot" by Phil Nesbit and "The New House in the Forest," by Lucy Sprague Mitchell. I didn't dig the authors out of my memory, I still have these 'ancient' books on my shelf, both early 1940's. Later it was "National Velvet" and "The Egg and I."

  6. I still have a battered copy of The Little Prince with art by me inside the front flap. I use the word "art" loosely.

  7. I can't imagine my life without books. I devoured Tin Tin Comics and any Enyd Blyton's I could lay my hands on. Tom Sawyer was part of my childhood too.

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
