Ok I am cheating here....
Zebra = Cebra in Spanish!

Look where I had to go to get
this photo!

Canada Geese and Zebra
April 29, 2014
I convinced Russell to stop on our
way home to drive through this
wildlife park. Their purpose is:
Wildlife Safari is dedicated to conservation,
education and research of native and exotic wildlife.
It is our commitment to educate the public
about the status of animals around the world.
Besides the Zebras and geese we saw
lots of other animals from all over the world.
Here are only a few of the photos I took.
Enjoy!
Watusi Cattle

I could not get over the size of the horns
on these cattle and how heavy they must be.
The cattle did walk rather slowly.

I would have loved exploring there for the day. How fun.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day honey. Big hugs. ♥♥♥
That would be cool to drive through a park like that. Did any animals sit on your car?
ReplyDeleteWow, a great side trip. I'd never heard of a Watusi cow before. Incredible horns.
ReplyDeleteWow, your comment really made my day today. I'm so glad we've connected through this Challenge and I look forward to building a friendship.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go on an adventure like that. I'm fascinated by zebras, being a horse lover since childhood.
Congrats on a great Challenge. Wow, that was nice of you to thank me publicly and link me! You rock!

What a nice park, and you got to see zebras! They are fascinating to me.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the A to Z!
Great pictures. I bet most people will be surprised that there's no such thing as an American buffalo. Ycu set them straight by referring to it as an AMERICAN BISON.
ReplyDeleteI was going to do Zebras too since I went to a drive through safari on Sunday, but I couldn't upload my pictures due to computer problems so I have to go with Zip Codes. *pout*
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are awesome!! Looks like you had fun. I got to pet a kangaroo and a giraffe so I was super excited hehe. I'll get pictures posted in a few days when we stop having issues with everything. :)
I've always wanted to go on a safari, you're so lucky! And that deer probably has the most innocent look on its face I've ever seen. :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures! So much personality in some animals, huh?
ReplyDeleteZebra and Canadian geese in the same place is just... wrong. We are messing with forces we don't understand people, playing with the make-up of the natural world! What happens if we discover geese have a taste of zebra flesh and they turn into violent, marauding monsters that scour the globe for striped equine flesh, but will settle for the blood of Man in a pinch? Huh? What do we do then?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post
ReplyDeletewow so many animals on road... that must be fun. Lovely captures.
ReplyDeleteThis made me laugh in surprise! Check out my "Z" post from 2011... http://www.josie2shoes.com/2011/04/z-is-for-zebra.html
ReplyDeleteWhile I don't begin to share your photography talents, we had a lovely time viewing and feeding those critters from our hands. Looks like your visit was amazing too! Another A-Z survived, I'll be back to catch up on more of your posts soon!
