Awww Monday July 11, 2022

We have awesome neighbors- one neighbor
allows me to cut all his roses while he
is on vacation. AND sometimes I get to take them home!
I do share the roses with all our neighbors!
They take turns having roses delivered and
I have so much fun!

A Springy Tour of Our Garden!

Our iris from Monet's garden in Giverny, France
They have moved with us 3 times!
From Lake Oswego OR to Weed CA to Vancouver WA!
And still willingly bloom each year!

We have two pink rose bushes that were here
when we moved in. They are lovely, fragrant
and consistently bloom from Spring til late Fall.

Allium. First time I have tried planting them.
Love the color and how they attract pollinators.

Peonies midst Bracken ferns.

And last but certainly not least...
our recycled metal dog sculpture.
Recently purchased from Attic Gallery.
A local art gallery in Camas Washington.
Have a great week and stay happy and healthy!
Thanks Sandee!

 I love my little garden.
It has a variety of herbs; 6 basil plants, lavenders,
oregano, thyme, valerian, rosemary, chives and mint.
Plus 5 tomato plants and 6 basil plants.
Not forgetting I also have two rose bushes
marigolds, hops and daylilies.

Saturday Six Words and Sunday Shadow Shots! August 1-2, 2015

Enjoy now!
Summer is almost over!

I have roses in my vegetable garden...

And oregano in my iris bed...
I prefer a French potager garden to
an ordinary flower or veggie garden.
More fun to plan and esthetically pleasing also.

Once Again It's Feline Friday! May 29, 2015

We all had a busy day...

After gardening Russell had
to hold down the hammock....

I had to hold down a chair
with my feet while reading....

Lucy had to take a big nap after
keeping an eye on all the birds....

Meanwhile our rose is beginning to bloom!

Have a great Friday and don't forget
to thank Steve of BFDude for starting
Feline Friday....just to prove he
truly adores cats! Cheers!

It's Time for Six Words and Shadow Shots!! May 24-25, 2014

Bliss is being in Kitty's Garden
6 am and I am wandering through
Kitty's garden in Bolinas, California.
Roses are blooming and the scent
is lovely. The birds and I are having a
peaceful morning and the sun is barely
up....just hitting the tops of
the Eucalyptus trees.
Have a great weekend everyone!
