Enjoy now!
Summer is almost over!
I have roses in my vegetable garden...
And oregano in my iris bed...
I prefer a French potager garden to
an ordinary flower or veggie garden.
More fun to plan and esthetically pleasing also.

I love irises, what color do you have?
ReplyDeleteTasty Shadow
I can't believe it's August already. Summer will be coming to an end soon. Bugger. I'll take some cooler weather though.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and tons of scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥
I really wish summer were almost over in the desert, but it's going to be a LONG run, I think!
ReplyDeleteIt's all about the unexpected. It makes life interesting!
ReplyDeleteNO! NO! Too soon! Too soon!
ReplyDeleteNo, surely not! :( It just got here :) Love your clematis. Happy weekend, Kathe!
ReplyDeleteThe bright seems brighter when shadows lurk.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely garden - and the opaque shadows illuminati the leaves are so artistic and delicate! Let's all enjoy the remainder of summer!
ReplyDeleteThat is an interesting garden technique. Pretty shot of the roses.
ReplyDeleteI'm not ready for summer to be nearly over - I feel as though it has just arrived!
ReplyDeleteYour plants look like they are happy and thriving. Good for you! And while i don't necessarily want the cold, i am looking forward to a break on the heat.
ReplyDeleteDo you plant marigolds with your tomatoes? I am told the marigolds discourage insects that pester tomatoes. I am ok with summer almost over. It has been way too hot this year.
ReplyDeleteOh, how lovely your garden is! And the light on it when you took these is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty garden!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite flower is the iris. Hope you're having a terrific weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love roses. I hope your Summer lingers for a while longer. But I hope my Winter goes by fast.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it the truth? :sigh: Although I could do without the HOT and MUGGY days, I'm not ready for the SNOW and FREEZING days either. Those days will be here before we know it (in Maine). It's been a great summer, but in about a month school will begin again and fall will be here. (I love fall though! Warm days, cool nights! Less bugs! LOL)
ReplyDeletebeautiful rose and lovely light in the second image :)
