The Eddy Mountains

June 1, 2018

Good grief...going through my photos from last year

looking for a nice springy shot I came across

this photo I took last year on June 1 when we were

just putting our mountain home on the market!

And now here we are in Vancouver Washington

with warm sunny days in the low 70's!

Mama mia- how our life has changed. We miss our friends

and some things about our life there, BUT we don't miss

plowing snow nor keeping an eye out for wildfires!

We love where we are! And so does Lucy!

Cheers and have a lovely day!

( so much for being Wordless! )

Wordless Wednesday and Thankful Thursday May 9-10, 2018

Spring is here!

One of my favorite spring blossoms is

the Red Flowering Currant bush.

Pretty and has a lovely scent.

I am always thankful for every season.

Especially spring!

Thankful Thursday is brought to us by Brian!

Thanks Brian!

2018 Photo Project

Photo #93

While having a lovely lunch in Dunsmuir

I spotted a peach tree beginning to

bud out with little leaves and pink blossoms.

Because Dunsmuir is 1000' lower in altitude than

where we live spring comes about a month earlier.

Have a wonderful day!

And here's my Sparks for this week...

thanks to the internet!

My father read all the Pooh books to me and

as a mother I read all the Pooh books to my children.

So many good thoughts and laughter in those books.

Eric Alders Monday Photo Prompt 3-7-12

Breaking news across the wires.....
The Harbinger of spring has been spotted.
Is it the Red Breasted Robin-
The State bird of Michigan?
Or the gorgeous Red Cardinal?
Only the keenest bird watcher can say....
