Awww Monday July 12. 2021

Over the weekend Lucy was very sick. Something was
making her vomit for over 24 hours and we could
not get a vet to see her until early Saturday. We called
our regular vet and many others before we found
one that could see her immediately.
It was really scary and sad.
Lucy is fine now because of us finding a vet close by.
We were calling places miles away, before we found
these folks who had me show up at 7am on Saturday
and by 4pm she was going home with us.
Thank goodness for the internet helping us search!
Today she is spry and happy and wanting to be with us
all the time! Rolling over on her back for a tummy rub!
We love Lucy!

    1. Lucy was treated for gastroenteritis. Inflammation of the stomach and intestines. So thankful I got her in to the vet.

  3. Weekends are tough when a pet is ill. We have the emergency vet but it usually means hours of waiting and they are just not as good as our regular vet. Glad Lucy is back on the mend.

    1. Lucy was treated for gastroenteritis. This vet did her due diligence in blood work testing and giving her meds to stop the vomiting etc. Was not cheap- but Lucy is well worth it- she's our special buddy.

  5. Oh Lucy thank goodness for the internet and a very nice new Vet who welcomed you and made you all better. Ask Mom to give you a tummy rub from me too

I know all about the tests Madi had a similar visit once. Thankfully our regular vet was part of an ER Vet clinic. Only about 5 miles from home.
