Early Awww Monday November 25, 2018

After all the welcome rainy days
yesterday turned out to be sunny and dry.
Some of our deer came out from the forest
and I gave them a few bits of carrots.

I will truly miss the deer and all the other
mountain animals.
BUT Russell will not miss all the work that
is necessary here!
And we both will miss all our dear friends!

It was a  gorgeous day!

  1. You'll both have more time to do what you need to do. That's a good thing, but I know you'll miss all your wonderful visitors. When are you moving? Soon it sounds like.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday. Big hug to you both and tons of lovies to Miss. Lucy. ♥♥♥

  4. They are beautiful. I have seen a few lately and I hope they survive hunting season which begins tomorrow.

  6. Kathe,

My parents live in the country. While visiting my folks the weekend prior to Thanksgiving my daddy was telling us that deer feed in their backyard which I think is kind of neat but then he mentioned they also have a bear that shows up on occasion. That's where I draw the line. The only bears I like are the stuffed toy variety or bear in the wild from the safety of our car. lol Bears that aren't scared to venture close to a home are ones to keep a close eye on because they'll get into your home or vehicles looking for food. They are clever and have learned how to open a car door. When that fails, they'll rip out the window seal to gain entrance that way. I know it's gonna be hard to say goodbye to your forest friends. Will your next place be situated for woodland critters to come calling?
