2018 Photo Project
Photo #286
Lucy can always find a sunny spot!
After a lovely 3 weeks in Zihuatanejo
we're back home! Tan, rested and ready
for our next adventure! In just a month
we will be moving from our beautiful mountain
home and going back up north to a new home in
Vancouver, Washington. We will miss all the
lovely animals and all our good friends here.
But it's time for us to downsize and have more
free time to travel and to spend more time
with our Northwest family members.
Plus ten and a half acres is a huge responsibility
to take care of when one is over 70 years old!
We've accomplished a lot in the almost 7 years
we've been here and our home and land
are better for all our hard work.
So, that said I'll try to keep blogging,
but there may be days I just won't have the time.
We have a lot to do before leaving....! Cheers!
Welcome home and there is my Miss Lucy. I've missed seeing her.

ReplyDeleteKathe,
ReplyDeleteI think one must do what makes one happy. I think it's great that y'all want to move near family. Two of our kids live in town but we don't see them often enough and the other lives more than a thousand miles from home. :( It's grand that you both like to take adventures. Life is to be experienced, enjoyed! Not, confined to a computer. The blogosphere community can wait and whenever you want to visit, then your peeps are here! Have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving!
Ten acres!? Wow, managing that is an amazing accomplishment at any age. I wish you all the best with your move. I tend to break out in a cold sweat at the thought of packing up and moving!
ReplyDeletewelcome home! I am sure you will have wonderful adventures no matter where you live!Happy Thanksgiving!!
