Soon I will make Lemon Marmalade!!
Meyer Lemon Marmalade is the best!
Our Meyer Lemon tree lives in the Art hall
during our cold winter months...
Here's the largest lemon so far....
We have a total of six lemons this year...
last year we only had two, but I managed
to make about 8 small jars...and actually
shared a few! Just imagine how many more
I can make this year!
~~~
Saunter over Six Word Saturday and then
sashay over to Shadow Shot Sunday to enjoy
what other folks have to say and how!
Have a great day!
Sounds delish!
ReplyDeleteI'll send you my address when you're ready to start mailing shipments.
ReplyDeleteI love lemons. How good of you to keep close watch over that precious tree.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. Scritches to Lucy. :)
Enchanting gentle light round the lemon tree. Amazing that it is still healthy indoors.
ReplyDeleteThe lemons might be small in size - yet their yield is large, and delicious. And they receive and send out nice shadows too! Happy harvesting!
ReplyDeleteLemon marmalade from your own tree sounds as good as your pictures look!
ReplyDeleteGlad you have the six, Kathe. We have three this year. I'll put it in if and when we get cold again.
ReplyDeleteThe first year it had 6, then 2, then 0.0 for the next five years. This year I hand pollinated. The bees are mostly gone. I've written our Texas Senator, he says the U.S. can't be spending money researching bee problems.
Homemade lemon marmalade sounds great!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you make so much from so little! I love Meyers lemons and wish they were always around and not seasonal. We don't even get them here when they are in season!
