Once snapped the image is trapped.
"The creative act lasts but a brief moment,
a lightning instant of give and take,
just long enough for you to level the camera
and trap the fleeting prey in your box."

Have a great week!
The shower shot is really clever.
ReplyDeleteGarlic is awesome. You can never have too much garlic.
Great juxtaposition in your pictures.
ReplyDeleteNice shadows and a very nice quote.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend my friend. :)
You mean those garlics will have to live with their shadows forever?
ReplyDeleteSix Words and Shadows
Love, love, love that shower shot! Very geometrically shaped shadow. Time to make something with all that garlic, huh?
ReplyDeleteDon't you love it when an unusual photo presents itself to you, Kathe? You've done a great job with it.
ReplyDeleteThe first photo is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI see a shower of light falling nicely outside shower. A great and stylish way to wake up! Lots of fresh garlic in a bowl - I am picturing it all roasted and spread over a slice of grilled bread - delicious! I wish we had CA fresh garlic back east, it is often way old by the time it arrives back East...
ReplyDeleteThe shadow of the shower curtain looks very impressive, and a bid ominous.
ReplyDeleteI like that first one.
ReplyDeleteI've thought about trying to grow my own garlic. Yours looks good
I love those beautiful words of this great photographer! Exquisite beauty full photos!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shadow shots.
ReplyDeleteYes — that's why I always take lots of shots in the hope that something will turn out. But you look as if you might have mastered the art! :)
ReplyDeleteA moody, mysterious atmosphere in that first shadowy scene. And garlic is a mean health energiser.
ReplyDeleteYou make everyday shower look like piece of art!
ReplyDeleteAnd garlic...I looooove garlic!

Very good shot of the shower! It's true that the creative moment of a photo is only a moment, but lives on. Now if only a clean house could be a moment's work and then last!
