  1. Wow, I didn't think there was a place anywhere, that was just now getting winter! Yikes, I like my winters, have fun in them too, but we've had way too much of it this year! Enjoy!

  3. Congrats on the arrival of winter! I've just about had enough of it this week. Too many days in a row of sub-zero temps. We'll celebrate that you're getting precip though!

    Happy 6WS!

  4. We hope that the snowy Shasta will be covered with snow to help to mitigate (even if only a little bit) the massive drought in the Golden State. Lets hope for fewer sunny shadows in your neighborhood...

  5. Hi Kathe ~~ Lovely pictures this morning. You need the wet for stopping the fires there. We hear.

Our winter has been cold but not very wet. I do think though that our drought is being held off for a bit. The lake her is back to normal.

I have a picture of our 'snow' for the year posted this morning.

  7. I have to say that the road looks more than a little treacherous! The rooster looks happy to be crowing indoors!

  8. We've been cold but dry in Eastern WA, a drought is looming here too. Hope the mountains can keep this snow. Mostly it's just been cold here though. Enjoy your winter.

  11. Wow. Sounds like you have had a busy, creative time. Unbelievable that you are just getting winter. But then, in my peninsula world, we have had a rather scattered summer too. Only in recent days has it been consistent. Australia's northern areas have quite a different story.

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers!
