A Shadowy Cat

Cats have a way of disappearing...

And here she is....
I was gone for about a week and Lucy
is annoyed that I wasn't here to spoil her....
I think she is pouting...do your pets ever act out?

  2. Our cat does that, too.

    Happy weekend!

  3. My cats would do that, but Sam Schnauzer is just always thrilled silly when I came back from anywhere! Animals are so delightful and all have their own "ways" -- just like us two-legged ones! Terrific shadow shots for the day!

  4. I'm between pets at the moment but our corgi would look and act embarrassed from time to time when she tripped or fell.

  5. Our Linus does become quite dramatic when he feels that he is being ignored by his household staff...the irony is, a cat may think they are hiding...but the shadow proves otherwise :)

  6. Once, many years ago we had a cat named Charlie. We lived in the DC area ... took lots of weekend sightseeing trips with our kids. Charlie DID NOT like it one little bit. After one of our excursions, he attacked our youngest son .. pounced on his head, drawing blood. That was the end of Charlie the Cat! We couldn't risk him repeating that behavior. We were lucky .. had friends out in the Maryland countryside who volunteered to take him .. Charlie became a nice barn cat. Certain he took care of the mouse population.

I'm leaving tomorrow morning bright and early ... see you in two weeks!

  8. When I used to have cats they could hardly wait to get out of the house when we returned. Not used to being inside all the time. After half a day they'd come back and visit.

  10. Cats love bushes for hiding! But on a sunny day, bushes still can't quite hide their shadows! And yes! Animals love their attention!

  11. Yes, the cats punish us and plot against us. They are smarter than we often give them credit for being.

At least, my husband's cats are.

  16. That's a great snap! And it's true, cats are special, sometimes scary special, making us wonder if they really are from Earth :)

  18. I think they all cop an attitude when they don't think you've treated them right. Dogs are just happy to see you, cats not so much.

Have a terrific day. Scritches to Lucy. :)
