Dough rising in the sun
March 8, 2013
Nothing better than home baked bread!
Besides making the house smell wonderful...it tastes divine!
I came across a book several years ago that had such
simple bread recipes that I make this bread all the time.
So simple that there is no kneading and the dough makes
up to 4 loaves plus the dough keeps in the fridge up to 14 days!
Here's the link to that book: http://www.artisanbreadinfive.com/

Love the variety of shadow shapes round he rising bread! A very homely feel!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathe ~~ If it really is easy I could make it too. You have made it sound soooo good.
ReplyDelete.
I don't cook too much these days, but a fresh baked loaf of bread is very tempting.
ReplyDeleteUm....
ReplyDeleteHome-baked PIE!
I checked the meme - we seem to thrive on carbs here at home, and what better than bread made yourself. We haven't yet from scratch ourselves but have with a bread maker - the dough rising in the sun is great, a perfect place to warm the dough, a natural way and off the grid - very cool!
ReplyDeleteAn olive tapenade adds a bite to the less savory wheat bread - a true pairing of opposites that sounds divine!
I believe you! But I still prefer to buy.
ReplyDeleteIf I bake the bread, I'll eat the bread. That's the only downside!
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday. ☺
I agree with you whole heartily. I love bread, especially homemade. I can smell it now.
ReplyDeleteI love to bake bread! And what a great shadow shot for the day, Kathe! I'm going to have to get out some of my bread recipes!! Hope your weekend is going well!
ReplyDeleteKathe, your page looks so wonderful and Spring like!
ReplyDeleteYes, please, to that bread! But I would never stop eating it.
My mom used to make home-baked bread when I was little. Goodness I'll never forget that smell!
ReplyDeleteIt does make the house smell wonderful and it tastes way better than store bought bread. I'm coming over.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day. :)
Makes me want to pull out the bread machine, just to get that smell in the house.
ReplyDeleteI noticed my local supermarket has started selling rye flour - so I bought some yesterday with bread making in mind - this is a timely post.
ReplyDeleteO cheirinho de pão assando é maravilhoso...adorei a foto, beijos!
