Bifocal Univision February 25, 2014

Photograph by Eric Alder

Winter driving is such a pain
Slogging to work in all the rain
And then rain becomes pretty snow
Forget work- and grab the Bordeaux
Light the fire-sit down and relax
Winter can suck and that's a fact!
~~~~~~~
Every week Eric Alder posts a photo
to challenge our creativity.
Go to Bifocal Univision and play
along while seeing more photos
and poems.
Cheers- drive safely!
Ah yes, it can be dreamy, like your poem sweetly tells, and then it can go horribly wrong too, as it has in my neck of the frozen tundra! Our roads were declared the worst in 25 years by the State Patrol over the weekend, they still haven't reached what they usually do, for us here in snow country! Can you tell I really am excited for Spring?!
This winter has been a rough one. I won't be sorry to see it go this time.
Thanks for playing M.M.P.P. this week, Kathe!
Better to just sit back and enjoy and avoid the roads!
There's some good tucked into the bad in most stuff, winter included.
