Having Fun in the City!

After spending a few days in Los Altos
we drove up to Sausalito to see
our dear sweet cousins!

 Golden Gate Bridge

That means we also must take
the ferry over to San Francisco!
It's a scenic delight !

 The Bay Bridge

Coit Tower on top of Telegraph Hill

Once we arrive we walk and walk
through Chinatown....

Chinatown

 Grant Avenue

 Columbus Avenue

Until we arrive in North Beach.
We always end up here as this
is where our tummies take us!
We love Italian food!

Our favorite Italian Restaurant
in North Beach !

And presto- we are seated and waiting
for the feast to begin.....
No photos of our food.....I was too busy eating!
Have a great day wherever you are!

Only a Ferry Ride Away.....

We had a glorious day in San Francisco.
Rode the ferry over to Fisherman's Wharf-
Walked up Powell to Columbus Avenue to have
a delicious meal at Pinocchio's Trattoria
complete with two desserts!
After our 2+ hour lunch we wandered through
part of Chinatown and eventually got
back on the Sausalito ferry.
Such a nice day.

Our Vacation in Sausalito....

The sun rises over Angel Island....

I love all the lush vegetation here

We took a drive to Bolinas to visit good friends

We went into San Francisco to see the
Chinese Terracotta statues at the
Asian Art Museum.
Amazing.

We bussed over the Golden Gate to go into the city,
but rode the ferry back to Sausalito.

Shasta Lake is lacking about 37 feet
to be completely full. We are expecting
some rain, so that will help.

Yep- almost home!

Ahhhhh....no place like home!
Great little vacation, but always
good to get back home!
Don't you feel the same?
Have a great week!
