I am so thankful for having the
opportunities to make baby quilts
for relatives and friends.
It's so fun !!!
I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
You have a talent that spreads joy!

I love and admire your creative talents. Years ago I was spearheading a quilt project for a little three year old girl named Shannon. I have never forgotten her. She had a rare brain tumor and was getting ready to for her final journey. My friends Suzanne and Sue in Texas were quilters and we joined forces with over 100 quilters who sent a square. They put together a beautiful quilt for Shannon and we gifted her parents a memory quilt. In return they gifts each one of us with a packet of forget-Me-Nots to remember Shannon. I planted mine in our front yard. An angel sits next to them and they have come up year after year. I think of Shannon's family every time I step out my front door. I learned a lot about quilting and all those who participated shared their own stories. We had so many quilt squares we found another baby who was having surgery and gifted him a quilt too. I love those ladies who helped out so much. I learned how very kind people were and am thankful we did not listen to the negative comments from folks who said do not do the project! Your quilts are pieces of artwork, thank you for sharing.
