Awwww Monday! February 22, 2021

It's that time again! Both of us have large
families and therefore little babies show up!
The quilt above is for a little boy and the
silly little stuffed lion is for the older brother
who just turned two in December.
I figured the older brother would appreciate
a small gift too!

This quilt is for a little girl born
just a few days ago! She has an older
sister not quite 2 years old and I found
a cute little book for her to enjoy!
I am sure that they will probably both
enjoy having the book read to them at bedtime!
Have a lovely Awww Monday!
Thanks Sandee for Awww Monday!

    1. Thanks Alex- I make sure no one feels left out! I have been making baby quilts for about 15 years...Unfortunately I did not photograph all of them...but I figure I've made at least 50 over the years including not only relatives, but friends babies and their Grandies also. Now these last two are greats!

  6. It's sweet of you to get the other child something as well so they don't feel quite as left out when the new baby gets all the attention. Very special any pretty quilts for the new babies.

  7. The quilts are awesome. My wife typically knits a blanket for newborns. Every grandchild, most of the great nieces & nephews, as well as a dozen or so church families have a baby blanket knitted by my spouse. For each of the grandchildren she has made a memory quilt out of t-shirts from their youth. Have a blessed week.
