Feline Friday August 17, 2018

I want to be a cat!

Lucy the Cat
March 2011

Oh to be a cat....
just think of that!
Sleeping on whatever pleases
while dreaming of tasty meeses.
Carelessly shedding furry hairs
and lounging on the sunny stairs
No chores for me-no siree
my life is aimless- so carefree
To be a cat would be a laugh
No bosses here- as I have staff !!

Lucy Snoozin'
March 2011
I thought it would be fun to repeat a post
from when Lucy was still a new kitty.
She arrived on our doorstep in late fall of 2010.
Six months old, borderline feral and happy to
come into our home where we have been waiting
on her ever since!
Back then I participated in a poetry blog called
Jingle Potluck Poetry and wrote the above poem for Lucy!
Have a lovely weekend!
Thanks Sandee for Feline Friday!

  6. I'm so glad I got to meet Miss Lucy in person. She's a regal lady and does rule the house. I love her staff too.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday, Miss Lucy. My best to your staff (peeps). ♥♥♥
