Six Words and Sunday Shadows.....December 18, 2016

The deer were a little pushy....
It's winter and they are hungry.
First I saw the buck...

Tossed some pieces of carrots

Such a gorgeous animal....
I think he's one of the fawns from a few years past.
We've been here now for almost 5 years!

Then a few of this years fawns and a doe
showed up too. I went back in the house
when they got too close....

Last shot taken from inside the house!
Do check out Six Words and Sunday Shadows.
And have a lovely day!

  1. You do live in an amazing place. I would love to see this outside my window.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hug to you and Russell and lots of scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥

  2. Wow, they really come up close, don't they?
    I dig your Christmas tree.

  3. Such lovely creatures, and i don't blame you for not letting them get too close. They look like you'd want to pet them, but they are still wild.

  4. They don't look too timid!

  5. Such beautiful creatures! What a privilege, Kathe. Wishing you a joyful festive season and the very best for 2017. :)

  6. Wow - what wonderful shots! I can't believe they come up so close to your house.

  7. Beautiful photos, I love deer, they are such graceful creatures.

  8. Beautiful deer and shadow shots ~ Gorgeous header for the Season on your blog ~ thanks

Wishing you a Happy Christmas and Happy Holidays ~ ^_^
