Babies and Quilts!
You might remember this quilt as I posted about it
back in late December and I mentioned that there
was a cute story about the quilt.
You might remember this quilt as I posted about it
back in late December and I mentioned that there
was a cute story about the quilt.
Now that the baby is here I can tell the cute story.
The paternal Grandmother is a good friend of ours
and she had a dream about her unborn grandson.
As a matter of fact-the baby was only a twinkle in the
father's eye at that point. But the Grandmother
was convinced the baby boy was on his way.
Well....her Grand daughter was born in early
January so obviously the Grandson will have to
wait a bit before his arrival. When I made this quilt
I made sure that it would be a perfect quilt for
either a boy or a girl and here is a photo of little Lola!
Meanwhile, our family welcomed our latest little baby girl
Cody Rae in late December.
I was a bit tardy in the making of the quilt
so she just got her quilt a few days ago.
Have a great day what ever you do!
And don't forget to thank Sandee for Awww Mondays!

ReplyDeleteThese quilts will be treasured keepsakes soaked in love and childhood memories. Maybe i shouldn't have used the word "soaked" when it comes to babies.
