I was in a jam.......

Actually I was making marmalade!
Meyer Lemon-Blood Orange Marmalade!

One of nine little jars    1-6-2015

Our Meyer lemon tree has six lemons
on it this year.....two were ripe so I
combined them with eight little Blood oranges
from our local organic co-op to make
this absolutely scrumptious marmalade!
Rather time consuming, but well
worth the effort! I'll be sharing a bit!
Cheers and have a great day!

  1. Knowing part of it came from you tree makes it even more special, right?

  2. Would you believe I've never had marmalade? My dad hated the stuff because that's all they had on Guam during WWII, and so I've shied away from it. I must say it does look good.

  3. This reminds me of growing up. My mother did tons of canning and we ate all those fresh veggies all winter long.

Have a fabulous day. Big hugs to you and tons of scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥
