Wednesdays Travel Notes

Russell and I are on a week long road trip.
Haven't done this for quite awhile!
We first drove to Bend....
here are a few random photos....

"Don't forget my treats!"

There really should be a law!

Highway 20 rest stop near Riley, Oregon

Highway 395 heading towards Highway 26

We had to take a detour via Hwy 20 and 395
to get to John Day as Hwy 26 was closed
because of wildfires near Mitchell .....

Tasty lunch and a glass of cider....

Great B and B in Baker City

Spent the night in Baker City- after a great visit
with our good friends. Today we'll be in
Lake Oswego for Portland's Oregon Brewers Festival!

  2. Lots of great beer in Lake Oswego and the rest of the Portland area. Unfortunately, I don't drink beer. Just don't like the taste. Our son tells me that living in Portland and not drinking beer would be like living in Paris and not going to museums.

  3. Isn't retirement glorious? I know Bend was a quick stop ... glad you made it. I would love to visit that B & B. Stay safe.

  4. How fun. I love your road trips. Hubby and I will do them at some point. Little Bit is too old for all that traveling. It's all about her.

Have a beer or two for me honey.

Have a fabulous road trip. Big hugs. ♥♥♥

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
