The heat is definitely turned on!
Summer is certainly here, but there are
still cool corners in our home.

And for goodness sakes have a lovely day!
I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
Lovely shadows and great captures for the day,Kathe!! Hope you're enjoying a great holiday weekend!!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, the heat is on for sure!
ReplyDeleteI love your images-both of them (would not be able to pick my favorite in this case!).
The first one really represents a lazy summer day.
ReplyDeleteGreet shots Kathe..
ReplyDeleteHappy sunny day.
Does a cornered shadow feel trapped, I wonder?
ReplyDeleteLovely shadows indeed. Great captures.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend. :)
Lovely words and pictures. Yesterday I was flagging from the heat. Today I can't see the view for the rain.
ReplyDeleteCool corners - is that in artistry or in temperatures? Your neighborhood is not only sunny, but shadowy too!
ReplyDeleteAs a painter I've always been fascinated by shadows. i see you are as well. Have a terrific weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove that photo of the flowers. Enjoy your weeked!

Both photos are great!
ReplyDeleteToday is the first day in a while that it is less than 95* and humid. But tomorrow we will be back to normal.
ReplyDeletePretty, arranged shadows in the first photo and a sense of wild chaos in the shadows in the second photo. Great contrasts.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shadow shots.
ReplyDeleteI like your shadow pics.
ReplyDeleteHere in Australia, we are very much experiencing winter. At least the days are getting a teeny bit longer now.
Great photos for sure. we had a couple of summery days, but it's been generally unseasonably cool.
ReplyDeleteSummer is here too - we were enjoying warm summer weekend by the sea....
ReplyDeleteI like your cool corner with double flowers...
my blog is here:

it is hot where I live too, but your shadows cools it of a little. :)
ReplyDeleteThe heat wasn't too bad in DC this weekend compared to what it could have been. But back home in my "undisclosed location," the heat will be back full-force this week.
ReplyDeleteThe photo I want to rave about is that chair full of books in your header photo. I love some books...
Thanks for playing 6WS!
