What do you think of the "new" blogger?

Me? I hate it. How can I go back to my good old Blogger?

I am told I cannot and I think this new one stinks.

Any suggestions out there? Help me as the Blogger Help doesn't.

Hahahah I now have my "Old Blogger" back. Here's how:

I figured it out thanks to Helen! On the main dashboard page you should see on the upper right hand side an object similar to a gear or cog wheel. Click on it and you should see Old Blogger interface as one of the options Click on it and VOILA your old blogger is back. Whew Thanks Helen!

  1. I took a look, decided it wasn't for me, opted to go back. Can't you just 'undo' it for now?

  2. 1. Click on the Title of your Blog

    2. Now Click on Settings Icon

    3. Click on Old Blogger interface

Now you are back on blogger old interface.

(I found this ... have you tried yet?)

  3. I admit to kicking and screaming when they did the test run which I tried and gave them negative feedback for. But alas there was no escape this time around. And they do seem to have fixed a couple of the things I ranted about.

Doesn't pay to rant when you have little choice. Who wants to haul their blog to another platform? But I noticed today that there are a couple options here I had not explored like multiple pages.

Anyone that chances upon this comment with experience with multiple pages please let me know if you like it. It would be an advantage I think to have art on one page and poetry on another.

All these changes keep our minds young. BTW I like your Magpie

  4. As a new follower I'm not that familiar with your old blog. But as a former art director I'd say you have quite a few visuals at the top of your blog and it's a bit confusing for the eye. You might consider simplifying. This could be a perfect opportunity for you to create something new, something you like better than the old blog.

  5. Stephen-
actually what I was referring to was the new format Google came up with for us bloggers to use while creating posts etc....but I appreciate your candid look at my blog. Thanks!

  6. Jacqui-
you are correct about keeping our minds young and being ridiculous changing to a new platform.
I guess I just resent being told I have NO CHOICE....it's the teenager in me ranting!

  9. I used to go backwards and forwards for a bit, but I've now worked out that I can do everything I did on old Blogger on new Blogger; I'm sticking with it. There's bound to be a new version again soon.

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
