It's beginning to rain here and so we got out our

umbrellas to take a walk. When we got back

we opened up our umbrellas to dry and of

course Lucy thought the umbrellas a perfect place

to hang out and watch her humans.

She's so funny!

The header is thanks to a good friends photo

of her four children walking on Cannon Beach

with Haystack Rock in front of them!

Jorge Perez is a painter of very small paintings....

when he has had enough of the heat from the beach

he takes his umbrella up from his painting table

and takes it into the sea....

he reminded me of Rene Magritte's paintings

of men with umbrellas in the cloudy sky...
