Thankful Thursday and Feline Friday September 15-16, 2022

I am so very thankful for folks who have
rescued abandoned kittens and adult cats.
They did not choose to be abandoned and
left to forage for themselves.

Almost 13 years ago we found our Lucy
wandering around behind our home. We
asked around the neighborhood to see
if we could find who had lost their kitty.
No one knew and so we adopted our dear
sweet Lucy! Here she is with Russell in
the morning while he has his cup of coffee.
You can see she is on a leash as we take care
she does not wander ever again.
She likes to take us for walks and does
not mind the leash!

Here is Baila another rescue kitty.
Her family moved here from France a few
years ago and of course Baila came with them!
They are such dear people who foster
mother cats and their babies until the kittens
are old enough to be adopted.

Here are three kittens who are now in their
furrever homes! Their mother Zoe was
adopted by one of our neighbors!

Here is Zoe while she was still being
fostered until her kittens were old enough
to be adopted.

Now Zoe is in her furrever home and she
was adopted by one of our neighbors!
So I get to see her everyday. She also is
an indoor cat only so she is safe and sound.
When our neighbor needs to be out of town I
get to feed her and play with her.
These are just a few of the cats I know that
are rescue cats. Have a lovely day!
Many thanks to Brian for Thankful Thursday and
many thanks to Sandee for Feline Friday!!!!!

Feline Friday May 5, 2022

Perhaps you all remember my post from
a few weeks ago? It was all about the
rescued mother cat and her 5 kittens.
You can see it here...
Well! All the kittens have been adopted and
one of our wonderful neighbors adopted
the mother cat Rowena!  Yippee!
I will get to see her all the time in her new home!
I will post on next Monday photos of
Rowena who now has the name of Zooey Rowena!!
She has blossomed into an amazing cat-
greeting everyone with purrs and cat kisses
plus head bumps! So very friendly!
Many thanks to the family who took her in
with all those baby kittens! Without them Rowena
and her kittens would not have their happy ending!
Have a lovely day- everyday!

Thankful Thursday and Feline Friday! April 28 and 29, 2022

Here is sweet Annabelle with her 5 newborn kittens.
They were born between 3:30pm to 6:30pm April 27, 2022!
Annabelle has been staying with our good friends since
being rescued from a bad situation for her
and other pregnant cats that were also rescued.
Once the kittens are old enough they will be
vaccinated and neutered/spayed and then
adopted! Annabelle will also be spayed and adopted!
I am so thankful for friends who foster cats and

Have a wonderful Thankful Thursday and Feline Friday!

It's Time for Feline Friday! December 26, 2014

Yoda the Comeback Kitty!

Yoda with one of his many foster kitties.....

Beth and Howard Stern foster lots of
kittens and when Yoda showed up he was
in a very fragile state. However when he began
to interact with all the foster kittens he came back
to life and his heart condition began to heal.
Yoda is quite the remarkable cat and Beth
wrote a childrens book about Yoda.

I purchased 4 copies of this book for
my many Great Nieces and Nephews.
They all love this book!
To read more about Yoda scamper over Here!

And don't forget to thank Steve of BFDude

he started it to prove he loves all cats!
