F is for Fish

F is for Fish

Local Fisherman
Barra la Potosi, Guerro, Mexico
November 2009

Proud fishermen
Fish for their family dinners
Not for their walls

Cousin Floyd Dean with that day's dinner.
New Zealand

~~~~~~~~~~
It really bothers me that some
people just fish for their egos.
Hooking beautiful fish for their
family room wall.
When we were kids the rule was
"You catch it, you eat it"
Magpie Tales #15
My keys, my keys-oh hell where did I leave them now?
Muttering "a place for everything and everything in it's place"
Shaking my purse for the sound of jingling fish
Hearing only the thud of my wallet and the beat of my heart
Grumbling "oh when will I learn" while looking for my plaice
My Keys my keys - oh holy mackrel where did I leave them now?
This is my fourth submission to Magpie Tales.
A Day Trip to Barra la Potosi
A truely delicious Marguerita at La Barra
Due to technical difficulties today Wednesday 11/11
and yesterday-it's been almost
impossible to post photos....
here are only a few from our trip two days ago...
Barra la Potosi is a small town one hour south..
Here's one of many local fishermen catching by hand held lines...
Another reeling in a fish...
Not sure what kind of fish this is
Our spot under the palapa...
Guitar music while bussing our way back....
