Thankful Thursday December 22, 2021

What could be in this cookie jar.....?

Gingersnaps with Cinnamon Red Hots on top!

Many thanks to Brian for Thankful Thursday!
And many thanks to my Mom who encouraged me
to be the family baker starting when I was
only 10 years old. Truth be told my Mom was a
fabulous cook, but did not care to make desserts.
So, she made all the delicious breakfasts and dinners
and I made all the cookies, Birthday cakes and pies.
We were a great team!
My three younger brothers and sister certainly ate well!
Have a wonderful Thankful Thursday!

  1. Love the cookies! Thanks for sharing your Thankfuls, it brought back some wonderful memories. Its funny how the festive cooking dynamics work in families! In mine, my Mom was the baker and I was the cook. I miss her cakes, pies and cookies.

  2. You are a great baker. Gingersnaps look yummy.

  3. Oh yum, I'd sure help to make sure that the cookie jar needed refilling again! Thanks for joining our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, we appreciate you hopping in!

  4. Wonderful thankful things. I learned how to make moms holiday meals and you learned how to bake. Perfect.

Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday, Kathe. Love and hugs all around. ♥♥♥

  5. Yummy never had ginger snaps with red hots on them but they sound very good
    Hugs Cecilia
