Wordless Wednesday May 6, 2020 Mystery Solved!

My mystery plant has now been identified!
It is an Arborvitae! I am familiar with this
tree, but never had seen one with these cones.
Hence my calling it a mystery plant!
I mentioned my mystery plant on this week's
Awww Monday post. And you can learn more
about the tree and cone by clicking on the link below!
Have a lovely Wordless Wednesday!
Cheers and be happy and healthy!

  1. I'm glad you solved the puzzle, I was thinking it was an alien pod!

  2. I've never even heard of it. Guess I need to go read up on it.

  3. I've never heard of these before. Thanks for the history lesson.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Kathe. Big hug to you both and lots of scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥

  4. It's always nice to have a mystery solved, isn't it.

  5. We have a Leyland Cypress hedge which has the same sort of foliage and some years has had small cones like that.
It hasn't had any for the last couple of years, but that could be because the hedge is getting very old. Or it may just be due to weather and growing conditions.

  6. That is hard to pronounce mystery plant sounds better heheh!

Have an Arborvitaetastically safe week 😷😷😷

  7. Yay...bloggers always are eager and ready to help!!
    Hugs Cecilia

  8. Hi Cutie! Totally forgot to send this your way. Stafford Ray
    Stay safe and well.

  9. Glad you solved the mystery :)

  10. Ironically just had 5 arborvitae trees planted ~ glad you found out what it was ~ They make wonderful trees ^_^

    Be Well,
    A ShutterBug Explores,
    aka (A Creative Harbor)

  11. You should rename it Mystorvitae!

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
