Wordless Wednesday .............. November 15,2017

RIP
This beautiful buck has not been around for
about a month, so we suspect he's been taken by a hunter.
It's a fact of life here, but I'm very sad and I'll miss seeing
this beautiful buck saunter through our property.

  2. That is a shame. I couldn't kill anything. I even catch and release spiders.

  7. I'm crossing my fingers that you're wrong and that this buck is off fathering babies elsewhere.

  9. Kathe,

Indeed a beautiful creature! My daddy is a big hunter. If a buck showed up in his yard I'll give you one guess what he'd do. Like you said, it's a part of life. I have no problem with people hunting wildlife for food or when it's deemed necessary to thin a population to prevent disease and overcrowding. Thanks for sharing such a magnificent photo. Maybe, he'll had a little buddy who'll come visit you sometime. Thanks for visiting but I noticed you didn't join my linky party. You're most certainly welcome to! ;) Have a joyful, blessed Thanksgiving!
