It was an awesome turkey invasion!
There were a lot of them....all looking for a handout!
With all the snow covering
the ground they were pretty hungry.
They found a lot of sunflower seeds
under the bird feeder....notice how
close to the ground the feeder is due
to all the snow that is still around!
Feeding frenzy....
They are pretty birds.
They even were on our deck next to the house!!
Maybe they'll be back today.
Have a great week and thanks Sandee for Awww Monday!
So that's what you meant about all the turkeys yesterday. Got it now. Looking for a handout.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific Awww Monday. Big hug to you and Russell and tons of scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥

ReplyDeleteI guess you can't fly like an Eagle because you were surrounded by turkeys,Sorry about the Pun.

ReplyDeleteSteve- they were like an army stomping all over the place!
Alex- we had about 30 or so turkeys!
Mike- good one- made me laugh!
Hi Kathe, always good to see you here! Nice photos! You always share something to chat about. Turkeys are very different kind of creatures. I know they don't get out of the way of storms. But they sure survive in the wild! I think turkeys are smarter than some people, at least many at social media! I hope you have a great week. Take care.
ReplyDeleteThat is a bunch of turkeys. Guess they were glad to find your house and some food. What lucky turkeys they were for sure. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteHmmnn.... Do these guys show up around Thanksgiving?
ReplyDeleteWhat a strange sight, Kathe! :)
ReplyDeleteA nice turkey flock, do they belong to some farm nearby or are they wild?
ReplyDeleteWOWZA!! Now that is something we NEVER see in our yard!!! catchatwithcarenandcody
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. We had about 50 at our bird feeders, but we didn't take photos.
