Six Words and Sunday Shadows June 25-26, 2016

Read to your children every day!

It's a great habit!
Links to 6 Words and Sunday Shadows!

  1. I read to my son everyday when he was little and he's an avid reader. I read to my oldest granddaughter everyday and she's an avid reader. I so agree.

I'm still sick, but I'm getting better. Finally.

Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥

  2. Anonymous11:24 AM

Nothing more valuable than a good model...

  3. That's what taught me my love of reading.

  4. Anonymous2:21 PM

My grandsons are the 5th generation to have caught that habit.

  5. It's been ages since I read to a child, much too long.

  6. An excellent idea! My children were read to a lot, and when they were a bit older, we would read through classics during breakfast. That's how we read a lot of H.G. Wells!

If you don't have children to whom you can read in your own family, go volunteer at a public school or library to be a reading friend.

  7. It is one of the best habits one can have! Love that red chair too!

  8. We read as a family over the summer. BTW...great shot

I love comments and will attempt to reply to each one. However, lately I have been getting "Unknown" comments that are linked to some sort of web page. I will never open this sort of comment and will immediately mark as spam. I am not interested in opening something that could be detrimental to my blog security etc. Never have enjoyed hackers! Thanks!
