It's Awww Monday June 27, 2016

Hammond Pond June 26, 2016

In the early morning I can hear the Canada Geese
talking to each other...a lovely start to my day.
Thanks Sandee for Awww Mondays!

  1. Over at Singapore, it's really rare to see a small family of ducks swimming idly in the pond since it's a small country with not much land space at all. The best and closest resemblance to seeing something similar would be the Botanical Gardens with the swans.

But sadly, I'm not sure if the swans are still there anymore since it's been more than 20 years since I went back there for a visit as the last one was while I was in school.

So, I can say, this photo is absolutely charming and beautiful in a special way. Thank you :)

  2. Oh I agree Kathe. I've heard these out at our island. Most delightful thing to hear.

Have a fabulous day my friend. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥

  3. And they are chatty and noisy. We hear them mostly in the fall.

  4. How beautiful, Kathe! I am amazed at how extensive our Canada geese's travel is! :)

  5. I see the geese at the open spaces where I walk when the weather isn't melting me! They crack me up, they sit around like a bunch of gals, gabbing! Hee hee! Great photo and share. Hugs~

  6. It is fun to see a bunch of geese. I used to have some here when I had a pond but they would come strolling up the pasture. So how is Miss Lucy???

  7. Beautiful shots of wildlife in their environment. Fabulous weather.

  8. Beautiful photos.

  9. Geese are lovely to watch, and i enjoy hearing them honk to each other.

  10. Oh how pretty and peaceful!
