Joachim Buecklaer 1560
There once was a lass named Daisy
Whose memory was rather lazy
"Tis best to have a list
Than get home with something missed"
Returning to the market would be crazy.

Very well done and I can relate to this very well at this time of year. Everyone is there.ReplyDelete
Have a fabulous day. Big hugs to you and tons of scritches to Miss Lucy. ♥♥♥
Fun poem. i read recently that biologists are studying these old painting to see just how much fruits and vegetables have changed over the past few hundred years. Watermelons look drastically different than those depicted in old paintings.ReplyDelete
oh....that market !ReplyDelete
A list is essential! She certainly does look competent to get it all done.ReplyDelete
Memory like a steel trap !ReplyDelete

that's my motto for sure!ReplyDelete
Nice limerick, to have a list to buy - the best idea ever instead of wondering about and feed the impulsive buying...ReplyDelete
Ha.. yes but I can imagine she needs quite a lot the lazy lass.ReplyDelete
Oh yes...thanks for the smile...ReplyDelete
A fine limerick!ReplyDelete
I write shopping lists and leave them on the table! Reminds me of other saucier limericks ;)ReplyDelete
I agree with all the statements about leaving comments. I like to leave comments when I visit blogs, but if I have to jump through hoops, I just give up.
Crazy, unless, there was good reason to go back (wink, wink)ReplyDelete
