Love sunshine,but we need precipitation!!!!
We seriously need rain or better yet snow.
This is the driest winter on record since 1936.

Have a great weekend!
Wow!! That is one SHARP shadow shot, Kathe!! I love it!! Hope your new year is off to a great start and that you get some rain soon!!
ReplyDeleteWish I could send you our snow. We are expecting 20 cm more tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteAs a desert dweller, I understand your longing and need for precipitation. May you get what you need in 2014!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this great shadow shot!
A great shadow shot!
ReplyDeleteWish you a happy lucky new year with snow and rain -
That is an amazing shadow shot!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shadows on the floor.
ReplyDeleteI love this photo!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness where ever can this be! I though pretty much everyone was deep in snow this year. In some ways you are lucky, but I know later you won't be happy, for nature anyway and the trees! This capture of this room is just beautiful! Warm and inviting.
ReplyDeleteWe are in the same boat down here. Dry, dry and dry. It will make the fire season awful if we don't get a lot of rain. Okay the farmers aren't going to like it either.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend honey. Big hugs. ♥♥♥
I hear Lake Shasta is mostly dried up. Yes, rain would be a blessing right about now.
ReplyDeleteHope you get plenty of the wet stuff, but not all at once so it floods!
ReplyDeleteMay it piddle down in torrents for you soon, Kathe! Happy New Wetter Year!
ReplyDeleteWinter precipitation is a big necessary, Kathe. We are out of drought for a while though with the rain we've been getting.
ReplyDeleteI like your shadow shot. That sounds like a good posting project.
..
Come on over and sit by me! It's snowing right now and it's not supposed to stop for at least 24 hours!
ReplyDeleteShadow art on the floor with each sunny day, wonderful.
ReplyDeleteNature doesn't seem to pay attention to our water woes - the shame, I wish that we could send you the snow. It has been very snowy (for Connecticut) since 2010 - yet most of the 1990s was very dry. I hope for snow and rain for you in CA, perhaps prayer is all we have now. So much agriculture in CA, so even back east we are affected by too little rain out there...
ReplyDeleteOH, MY! THAT IS A STELLER SHADOW SHOT TO START THE YEAR OFF WITH! (drats. sorry for the caps).
ReplyDeleteA beautiful maze of lines and swirls. Great capture!
ReplyDeletethis looks like an inviting room to sit a spell. wonderful shadows!! sorry for the lack of participation...hope some finds it's way to you!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a lovely room in which to relax. Nice crisp shadows you captured.
ReplyDeleteAs Ralph (my husband) said, we have plenty of precipitation here in Connecticut. Snow!
Thanks for visiting me. ;-)
Happy New Year, Kathe.
That is a very cool photo. I wish I could send you all the snow that is in my front yard but it's way to cold out there to shovel it up.
ReplyDeleteinteresting shadows you have there. :)
