Both Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Edison were
brilliant ( no pun intended) inventors.
One of Benjamin Franklin's many inventions was the lightning rod
and while Thomas Edison did not invent the light bulb,
he did invent the first commercially practical
incandescent light bulb.

its somewhat funny how we simplify history...i bet you would find quite a few students that would say edison did the light bulb

I was thinking about Ben Franklin and the lightning when I was coming up with my own poem! Some of these inventions have changed life so much.
