I love feeding family and friends
There is nothing more satisfying than making
dinner
for family and friends.
We have been visiting up north in the Portland Oregon
area and staying with good friends.
Last night I made a
yummy pasta with my marinara sauce
and a delicious Peach tart.
Everyone licked their plates clean!
Darn! I should have a photo of that!
Happy week everyone!

Everyone licking their plate would be funny indeed!
ReplyDeleteThe peach tart looks like it was created by a master chef. Was it difficult cutting into that masterpiece?
Alex-no it wasn't difficult as the pan has a removable bottom that pushes up so I was able to release it from the round fluted edge.
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious! Do you deliver? ;)
ReplyDeleteactually the tart is super easy to make:

The peach tart does look wonderful. I am feeling cheated. My friends mostly are the "lets eat out" type...not the let me cook for you type.
ReplyDeleteDelicious shadow shots for the day and now I'm starting off the day with my stomach growling!!! You sure you don't deliver???
ReplyDeleteI would have loved this meal. Yes I would have. Yummy.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day honey. Big hugs. ☺
It is fun to feed people, especially those who appreciate it. My grandmother never let anyone leave her house without being fed, even delivery people, so when i feel people i call it "channeling my grandmother"!
ReplyDeleteLooks delicious! I'd start with that dessert!
ReplyDeleteIt ios very inviting.
ReplyDeleteThe tart looks so fancy, you did a great job with it! And I'm sure it tasted amazing :)
ReplyDeleteYou peach tart looks really good, Kathe. I know that I would like it, with ice cream or plain or with whipped cream.
ReplyDeleteYes, I would like to see you all licking your plates. Mrs. Jim wants me to pull the curtains when I do that.
..
I agree that peach tart looks great. Say, where are you staying in Portland? Just curious since that's my home.
ReplyDeleteI'm sitting here thinking "feed me, Kathe" :)
ReplyDeleteWith all that good food, I definitely would have cleaned my plate as well.
ReplyDeleteThe tart is a work of art!

Everything looks yummy. I prefer a peach to an apple tart any day (which I first thought it was.) I had a piece of strawberry rhubarb pie today that was really yummy.
ReplyDeleteGosh, I can almost smell it - and it smells GOOD!
ReplyDeletefamily, friends and food!! can't go wrong. lovely yummy shadows!!!
ReplyDeleteYummi! :)
ReplyDeleteYum! Good looking food!

Hummm Kathe, totally agree with you there's nothing like a good soul fool. I'm also totally crazy about pasta, which one did you used with your marinara sauce ? Thanks for the link to your peach tart, I'll try it, I'm more into my usual apple tart.
ReplyDeleteHappy (late) SWS !
