You cannot make a wish
When times are tough
and you stand at the edge
with no where to go but down
just turn 180 degrees
and walk forward

A few weeks ago we watched
a documentary film entitled 180° South.
We were enthralled and inspired by the tenacity, strength of character
and quiet life philosophy of these people profiled in the film.
I still think about this film- hence this simple homage.

The first piece spoke to me of lost hope....the second of the perseverance to overcome...interesting juxtaposition. Vb
ReplyDeleteI watched a trailer for it. I love his quote that they were "conquerers of the useless". And "The hardest thing in the world is to simplify your life" I'll have to Netflix the movie. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteA very profound piece. Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteResilience. Why do some people have it and others crumble?
ReplyDeleteCan't argue with you. tue, true. Nice words and organization as well.
